Many things have happened this past year. First Ben finally graduated this past spring from the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Elizabeth thought that this day would never come and it took a long time getting here. He was employed at Watson Pharmaceuticals, but he got laid off soon after school ended and Elizabeth's hopes of not working ever again were shattered. He soon he had a couple of leads with other companies, but finally by the end of the summer he was offered two jobs and now he is employed with Weider Nutrition as a Process Engineer. This company makes many vitamins, power bars, etc. Ben is enjoying his job and is learning many new things each day. Also this past fall Ben ran his first marathon and he made it across the finish line under four hours and still alive.

Elizabeth is still working at Primary Children's, but she is now in administration as a medical secretary in the Emergency Department and the Rapid Treatment Unit. She is learning many new programs and enjoys her job. She started back in school this past summer and is looking into getting a masters degree in Speech Therapy.

One new exciting thing that will be happening this next year is that we are going to be having a baby next May. We are both excited and scared at the same time. It will be a fun adventure. We don't know if it is a boy or a girl yet, but if it is a girl it will be practically perfect just like her mother and if it is a boy he will be mischievous just like his father. So we will have to wait and see.
